Well, since I have nothing better today, I did more work on the Avenger. First off, I glued in the motor mount. The CR's are a little bit loose so I had a hard time keeping it from moving around on me. Once the glue tacked up a bit, I wanted to make sure the motor tube was properly aligned so I glued the first fin in.
And I'm glad I did, that gap isn't equal on the other side. That gap really doesn't worry me. I can fill that up later. So I put in the other fin (not glued, just checking alignment) to make sure it was equal on that side too. Which it was
I know the tube looks warped in the picture (which it is) but the aft CR fits better and forms it up. That'll go in after I glue all the fins in and put internals on. I screwed the forward rail button in, but it still needs some glue to hold it more.
Notice my masking tape and wood glue patch behind the rail button. That is from my first attempt at drilling a hole for it. It came out uneven so I put masking tape on both sides and smeared wood glue on it to harden it.
